I feel the most important thing about art and design is communicating something to the viewer. It is different for every artist, but in my case specifically, I want to impart feelings of wildness and awe to the viewer through nature.

My inspiration comes from a very spiritual place, and I want to pay homage to the majesty of God's creation. The artistic process, trial and error, re-working projects and improving my skills is what I strive to do. That feeling I get when I take my art to the next level by experimenting and following instincts is really gratifying. Another aspect of art that excites me is color. Something about color, mixing it, blending it, applying it on a canvas is intoxicating for me.

I feel that I have been called to be an artist, it's part of my personality. While I am still a young adult and realize the majority of my life is ahead of me, I think being an artist is what I want to do for the rest of my life because it's challenging and freeing at the same time, like climbing mountain, it's difficult and exhilarating. I also think it's important that the world is still producing artists and I want to be a part of that.
